Lessons from the Workplace: Real cases on Respect and Missteps

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

This 60-minute talk takes a case study–driven approach to understanding workplace respect, using real examples of bullying, discrimination, and sexual harassment to highlight how challenging and ambiguous situations arise. By examining these grey areas, participants will see how everyday behaviours—sometimes even those with good intentions—can cross boundaries and cause harm.

Through stories and real-world scenarios, participants will gain insight into how such behaviours affect individuals, team culture, and organisational reputation.

The session is designed to be engaging and thought-provoking, encouraging reflection and discussion. Participants will walk away with a clearer understanding of how to contribute to a safe and respectful workplace.
