About Us
Susanna Nickalls
Founder of WorkWell Associates
I founded WorkWell Associates to address a gap in the market: the need for workplace respect and anti-harassment training that is engaging, thought-provoking and focused on difficult grey areas where there are no obvious answers. From the outset, my aim has been to create programmes that not only inform but also inspire meaningful dialogue and change — a commitment that still guides our practice.
At WorkWell Associates, our approach is grounded in empathy as well as technical expertise. In our experience, many cases of workplace discomfort stem not from malice, but from a lack of awareness of colleagues’ personal boundaries. Attributing blame is not always helpful; what matters is encouraging conversations about professional boundaries, recognising the early signs of disrespect and building the confidence to speak up when behaviours cross the line. These conversations help create healthier, more resilient workplace cultures. At its heart, this work is about people – their experiences, the trust they place in their employers, and the professional relationships that sustain organisational success.
Over the years, our clients have relied on WorkWell Associates to investigate sensitive matters with objectivity, discretion and fairness. Addressing issues such as harassment or misconduct requires more than process – it demands balance: delivering clear, fair outcomes while ensuring all parties feel heard and supported. This approach not only minimises organisational and reputational risk but also strengthens trust in leadership and reinforces credibility with employees.
